The Adoption Process
Step 1: Apply
The first step is to complete an online adoption application. Click on the image of the dog you are interested in, and then click the “Apply for Adoption” button to fill out the application.
*** If you are renting, a completed and signed Landlord Consent Form is required as part of your application. ***
Step 2: Application Review & Home Check
Once your completed application has been reviewed, our Adoption Coordinator will contact you to schedule a phone interview. If the interview goes well, we will coordinate a date and time to complete a home check.
Step 3: Meet & Greet
A meet-and-greet will be scheduled for all household members and any current dogs to meet the potential new addition. Even in homes without other dogs, we encourage all household members to attend and interact with the dog before a decision is made.
Step 4: Adoption Day
If everyone in the home is comfortable with the match, and the dynamic between the resident dog(s) and the new dog is neutral or positive, you can choose to finalize the adoption and bring home your new furry family member.
Adoption Fees
All of our adoptable dogs are microchipped, dewormed, *spayed or neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations at time of adoption.
Puppy (under 12 months) $450
Adult (1-7 years) $400
Senior (8+ years) $350
*If a medical condition presents a risk to the dog, spay or neuter may be postponed based on veterinary recommendation.
